Inderjit Singh (Ang Mo Kio GRC) said the WP's proposal, if adopted, would spell "disaster" for the local small and medium-sized enterprises, which are already scrapping expansion plans and planning relocations to other countries because of the current squeeze on foreign workers.

We have one of the worst sme companies since they are uncompetitive without cheap labour! And the 6.9 million plan seeks to perpetuate that!

We are first world in terms of per capita income but in so many areas, we are moving towards third world standard. Are MRT train is getting as congested as the Indian trains!

The PAP needs to make up its mind ...does it want sinkapore to be first world or third world? They can't have it both ways.

They must relocate now if they cannot survive by cheap cheaper cheapest foreign labour.

I won't be surprised if many of these SMEs are either linked to or owned by the PAP, or heavily depend on the PAP's patronage and perks.

And by 'PAP' I also include those cronies, relatives, family members, acquaintances etc. Refer to the Brompton bike incident.

How many $2 company got govt contracts ? Ssshhh...secret

So is IS for or against this stupid 6.9 mil disaster?

can he make up his mind.
