Singer in court for allegedly selling a virgin

PHNO PENH (The Cambodia Herald) – Phnom Penh Municipal Court on Monday questioned singer Ou Rasmey, who allegedly sold a minor girl to an old man.
Police said Ou Rasmey had consoled the 14-year-old victim to sleep with the man for two nights from 15-16 January by promising to give her some money, and a chance to be an actress.
She may face between 7 and 15 years in jail if found guilty.
