Singer Han Geng’s (韩庚) crotch and genitals have been insured for 10 million yuan ($1.6 million) for his New Year’s Eve performance in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.
The information was leaked after a netizen claimed he had hacked into a Shenzhen Satellite TV (深圳卫视) staffer’s email account.
The high insurance figure is thought to be because the stage of the concert on Saturday night is made of slippery glass and Han Geng’s dancing performance will technically be the most difficult part of the night.
