Singapore still a "developing nation" ! UN Group of 77

Wow.

This a UN - sanctioned grouping. Group of 77 nations.

The world does NOT view Singapore as "First World".

http://www.g77.org/doc/index.html

1) First World countries have free and open elections.

2) First World countries have free and unrestricted press.

3) First World countries have governments in fear of their people, not the other way around.

4) First World countries maintain separation between government and industry.

5) First World countries are true meritocracies, not half-disguised nepotistic dictatorships.

Pee Sai can buy all the shiny hospitals and $4bn IRsinos it wants. It can scrub the streets free of every murderer and pickpocket there is. It can maintain a trade surplus higher than any other in the world.

However, unless ALL of the 5 points above are covered, it's just a banana republic where the trains run on time, not a developed country.

WARNING: Do Not hit the SINGAPORE link in the UN site. It goes straight to the Singapore MFA site that tracks your IP address.

Where in the UN article does it say Singapore is not?

Also this is your first post under that NICK .

Click on "Member States"... idiot.

Your brain must have been educated in a "developing nation". (If you can't read, it's spelled "Singapore")

PAP got downgraded!

We must further PAY-CUT the ministers!
