F1 is testimony of how the rich bully the poor
To make Singapore playground for the rich and famous, roads are closed and one million salarymen and women are made to endure traffic jams, roadblocks and all packed like sardines into trains. The economic loss of the traffic delays and inconvenience has not been quantified.
All the media and newspapers happily play the propanagda role of sexing up the F1. No one dares to criticise this stupid idea. I have no problem if they want to come here, but can't they race in Marina South or Tuas and don't inconvenience people.
Just like Singapore, no land to build HDB flats, force prices up to astronomical levels while there are 20 golf courses to cater to the filthy rich bastards.
Aetos commander was quoted asking the security people to take it easy and leave good impression.
I don't know what that means. Does that mean take it easy on drink driving, party drugs or what? I really don't know. But I think our country is sliding into a dark hole, with casinos, Formula 1, etc.
As a country, we are gone. We have prostituted ourselves to the dollar sign and forgot about basic decent human values.
