Singapore newscaster pronounce HK's I.C.A.C as "Icac"?

I am referring to the Hong Kong ICAC, Indepedent Commision Against Corruption.

If I recalled correctly, last week (or maybe 2 weeks ago), I heard CNA or Ch 5 newscaster pronounce I.C.A.C as "Icac"! Anyone watched and heard that too? KNNBCCB, everyone knows that ICAC is pronounce as I.C.A.C. I wonder what how they pronounce CPIB then!! Cpib (keeb)?

Similarly it irritates me when people pronounce M.R.T as "Mrt" (Mert)...
