Mum forces son to do homework outdoors at night - alone
This boy was seen alone at a badminton court at 9.30pm doing his homework. Harsh parenting, much?

Imagine being left alone, in the dark and outdoors.
Imagine if you were only six years old.
Well, this was what happened to one little boy in Sembawang.
According to a reader who wrote in to STOMP, this poor
boy was left alone in a badminton court -
to complete his homework. Said the reader:
"A boy, who looked about the age of 6, was left alone by his mom to do his homework at this badminton court in Sembawang at about 9.30pm on Jan 31.
"Armed with a chair, the boy was brought by his mom to the badminton court to complete his homework on the bench (which acted like the study table).
"He was left alone there for about 15 minutes while the
mom went off to who knows where.
"Leaving a young boy at night is such a dangerous thing to do -- who knows what may happen during these 15 minutes.
"Even if there is no available study room at home, the least the mom could have done was to stay with the boy there throughout."
Now was he being punished, or is this how parents coach their kids these days? A tad troubling, don't you think?
