If the plan does get the go-ahead, the disused property will be open for public access to experience stars, planes and nature, due to the area's low light pollution and high vantage point, according to the proposal.

Looks like those PAP technocrats are going to ruin another place of heritage again. I presume that an admission fee will be charged too?

The PAP govt is an incorrigible destroyer of nature and heritage, but it loves to pretend it is a champion of protecting and preserving them. It's like a rapist insisting that he is a sensitive lover.

Low light pollution? In sinkie?

Indeed, hard to see stars in Sinkieland these days due to light pollution. Too many 40-storey flats and condos.

You have to go to rural Malaysia or Indonesia to experience the 'blanket of stars' above you.

It's just another cash grab project. Similar to the renovated Haw Par Villa 'Hell Museum'.

You will need to climb one of the many volcanos in java. PAP, if they are serious about star gazing, should invest in a mega telescope on mount bromo.
