I am sure some clowns will come out and say that in 1938, a 15year old Lee Kuan Yew built all those nicely paved roads, created the busy Raffles place, the trade, the buildings and the social amenities etc.
 
I know what LKY did in Singapore from 1942-1945.

I know too. He ate sweet potatoes, which did not fill up very much. Later when he earned some money working for the Japanese, he could afford to eat salted fish, which provided more nutrition. Lee Kuan Yew is a very strong and tough man, to have survived those times. If you ask me to eat sweet potatoes and salted fish daily, I will jump onto MRT track.
