SINGAPORE – Should Singapore decide in future to adopt nuclear energy, the country could tap the energy source “within a few years” from that point, said the UN nuclear watchdog chief on July 25.

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director-general Rafael Grossi said small modular advanced reactors are one option for the island state.

Singapore could also potentially develop a plant in collaboration with another country in Asean, he added.

U trust our CECA experts to operate the nuclear power station for u?

Using Thorium reactors is attractive for densely populated and land scarce SG.
They talked about thorium for decades and only now we see some semblance of a working reactor. First one in Xinjiang, china. And the other by Danish upstart Copenhagen atomics.

The lynas plant in kuantan waste product contains thorium which scares the shit out of communist Chinese. The local Chinese wants that plant shut.

So Jiu hu looking at thorium reactors too. As lynas too valuable to shut. It's one of non china source of rate earth metals.

This could be a joke.
Pap cannot even solve simple pmd, vape, scam etc problems and want to talk nuclear?

A lot of my friends work in the process and control industries ie, refineries, power station, chemical plants etc.

The controls and setup are no different from any nuclear plants I suppose. Controls to manipulate, gauges to monitor, procedures to follow, safety limits to be understood etc.

But here is the real concern. My friends say, there are plenty of incompetent persons doing these jobs. Many are so retarded they do not even understand the basics of what they are doing and consequently many accidents happens. Some tragically fatal. You don't get to know about it because these guys clean the place up pretty well, plus it's a private location, so hush hush.

There are deep technical and engineering knowledge that is required, and systems and procedures to be memorized and executed at their fingertips at a moment's notice without hesitation, or else.....

Now extrapolate that same culture to the same people running a nuclear plant and my prediction is, Singapore is doomed, unless they utilise a fail safe reaction like the thorium.

To have retard Sinkies to man nuclear power station is a very dangerous move. The whole cuntry will become one big sinkhole.

Industries like food and beverage, interior design and construction have been the hardest hit, say debt collectors and liquidators.

CECAs hear this….they now all study nuclear engineering or related science degrees, fake or not, and prepare themselves to cheong SG

Maybe our brainy leeders will build the nuclear leeactor inside a sink hole, so no peepur will know any leak until leeactor cheekahBoom?

this country is getting more and more dangerous by the day... I am serious..... not just based on this nuclear power thingy alone but based on many other factors as well...
