[Singapore / Bali] - Singaporean couple kena robbed 3x by 3 separate groups of robbers in recent Bali holiday

They were on rented scooter, when a motorbike with 2 guys came up to them, snatched away the wife's expensive Samsung phone, then kicked their scooter down. #1stRobbery

The robbers rode off while the wife lay on the road bleeding and unconscious. The hubby, panicking for his injured wife, asked passerbys for help. One passerby asked the hubby where's his scooter. The hubby point towards the fallen scooter. The passerby rush to the scooter and ride off. #2ndRobbery

As the wife is hospitalized, the villa staff who rented the couple the scooter, now demanded Sg$250k (which is enough to buy landed property on Bali) as compensation for the stolen scooter, or else they threaten to get their gangster friends to make sure the couple won't leave Bali alive. #3rd Robbery

Agree, they are well protected strawberry in sinkapore. They assume in other countries they can behave the same way. They will get peotected the same way in sinkapore.:biggrin:
