Simple thing like MRT also got so much issue, no wonder SG lost the semiconductor race despite early start. What happen if we build nuclear power??

SINGAPORE - The Government needs to work hard to win back the support of frustrated Singaporeans affected by rail disruptions, said Senior Minister of State for Transport Murali Pillai.

In his speech during the debate on the President’s Address, Mr Murali acknowledged that failure in transport service is a “justified cause for frustration and disappointment”, given Singapore’s hard-earned reputation for reliability and predictability.

Singapore can never achieve the sustainability of a renown semiconductor manufacturing hub. Why? Land cost and utilities (electricity and water) costs are too high. Fab plants will need to use lots of water. Furthermore, the required dedicated expertise and manpower are also limited and government incentives are not attractive.

We don't need to create another Acting power minister who knows nothing about nuclear plant.
