SIA still maintaining those fat cats management. With so few flights, they should retrench at least 60% of the useless dogs there.

Looks like their cunning plan to sell overpriced 'gourmet' food didn't work too well eh? The 160th fake news media giving free publicity to their fellow GLC didn't help much either.

Commentary: More than S$600 for first class meals? SIA isn't for everyone but that's just fine

Recent initiatives by the airline, such as the Restaurant A380@Changi, remind us how SIA can’t lose sight of the premium market, says Dr Faizal Yahya from the Institute of Policy Studies.

The SIA CEO still collecting his multi-million $ pay package. No change.

Think about it …. An airline company that cannot earn money from flights, but still keeping so many staff on payroll.

Are they not waiting for a govt bailout? No fucking way they can survive by issuing bonds hor. Bonds are basically asking for loans and need to pay interest one. These cheebyes are sleeping well cos they think SIA is too big to fail.

How about turning SIA into a not-for-profit airline? :sneaky:

You don't need statistics to know SIA is bankrupt. The longer the Covid, the more certain it will be declared so.
There really is no way out as it does not have real liquid assets.

All this carnage over a virus that is no worse than the flu. The tragedy is not the pandemic but the stupidity of the human race in thinking they can combat mother nature.

Busy at work means good.
not really lol. current workplace is operating at a loss. small pawn like us busy means nothing. however lucky enough to find a job somewhere else soon in current situation. going to vaccine manufacturing related job (this the only covid proof job now). very lucky to be able to jump now

Important is how much cash in bank. Money come from somewhere and SIA not afraid

Heaven forbid! Navigational integrity will literally go south.
SIA needs to be very careful when they roll out exercise to retrench pilots.
They might go rogue and do another MH370 and we will never find that plane.
