Kindergartens used to be simple and fuss-free.

Walk to a nearby PCF kindergarten, sit there for two hours, learn your ABCs and 123s, sing some songs and play with a little plasticine. Go home after the session ends.

Nowadays, the married women would rather let their kids be placed under the care of strangers for 8 hours, while they themselves trot off to work.
