China population is 1.5 billions, amount of vacant unoccupied housing units are estimated to be 3 billions.
Sand and concrete are needed for building construction, imagine the huge amount of wastage, destruction of river beds, plundering and pollution made to our environment.

The peasants are encouraged by CCP to invest in properties so that more can be built, it is not supply and demand based. Building high rise buildings that are vacant will still contribute to GDP. GDP growth means CCP will be closer to reach developed country status. The infra developments are for CCP, peasants are just being used as sheep.
