A FORMER IT manager who peeped at a woman in a handicapped toilet was jailed for two weeks on Monday.
Tang Chee Leong, 37, had admitted to insulting the modesty of the 35-year-old woman by opening the door of the handicapped toilet using a personal key to peep at her on the second level of POMO, Selegie Road, on July 9 last year.
The woman was relieving herself inside the handicapped toilet that evening when Tang opened the door and peeped at her.
She told him to close the door and he complied. She made a police report the next day.
While viewing the CCTV recording at the building on July 15, the victim saw Tang and alerted the security officers. He fled on seeing them at the third level.
Tang, who had worked at Singapore Pools before the incident, has a molest conviction back in 2001.
He could have been jailed for up to one year and/or fined for the current offence.
