As for content creator Kerstin Ong, she left her job in June partly to see if she could support herself as a full-time influencer.
“Honestly, you can earn more as an influencer than in a normal job,” said Ms Ong, 26, who boasts some 40,000 followers on Instagram and 60,000 followers on TikTok.

Ms Ong saw her following swell by 10,000 during her funemployment stint, which she chronicled in a six-part series on TikTok.

In one video, Ms Ong stitched clips from her time at work – constantly hunched over a glowing screen, crying and thinking of “ending it all” – with footage from her unemployed life, where she is exercising, shopping and beaming.

Even so, she confessed that she has since returned to a full-time role in marketing after being headhunted with an “irresistible offer”.
“I still think about influencing all the time. Maybe next time,” she said.

at least this is a niche that CECA don't invade for now...but for how long?

some also say work as Grab driver earn more than a desk job.

I tried content creation part-time and was surprised how quickly small brand deals added up. Still, the pressure to always be “on” and post consistently can get pretty tiring.

Been wondering how these influencer make money.
Why would Tik tok pay them money?
What does tik tok earns by them being influencer?
Unless they sell things for them?
But those influences just talking about themselves or some topic and not selling le.

1. Never, NEVER be INFLUENCED by what seems to be big money that can be earned, worse still, thru losing one's self worth and dignity for life, over just a few $$$. The competition is STIFF, as there are EQUALLY BILLIONS others whom will be seduced and ready to sell their souls for such $$$...

2. In reality, how much would one need to LUXIOURIOUSLY survived, for oneself and loved ones for the long term, which sadly most are unwise? It had been calculated to be $30million....thus how much would a influencer be able to earn, let alone the competition but the REALITY that beauty WILL fade with age?

Would the record holder in that undignified site Onlyfans who reportedly in mainstream media, made only a mere $1million within weeks SUSTAIN her for life, more so with competition and age catching up, let alone greed and unwise decisions from her dumb blonde head?

3.Ultimately, it will be education, HONEST hardwork, dedication, resilience, and much more, and opportunities in life to elevate oneself in a stable country is that, that would secure one's lifetime's honest survival, while may not be of stress filled high riches life, but for sure would guarantee one would never go hungry till the last day....

need some advice how long did it take her to realise SG sports is wrecked by its very own bureaucracy lolololololol
