A little strange here. Unless the tc just happened to collect the dump immediately after he threw. Low probability. Or else he doesn't seemed to be panicky enough.

I ever threw some parts for a gadget i purchased online. I unboxed and threw without checking properly. I panic and went straight down to the bin using torch light to retrieve it. They usually does not lock the bin door. And my item was way way below $2900.

More likely he just panic without doing anything besides calling the tc. Stupid.

Oh so he panic the whole night (from the title) , calling the tc without taking self action. His self stupid action was to travel down to orchard instead of going to the bin.
This sort of things separates me from the stupid group.
