Fainted at the stall

The breaking point for Tan came on Tuesday at around 1pm.

He was stir-frying char kway teow and was down to the last 10 plates before he called it a day.

Just when he was about to press on, he lost consciousness.

After waking up in the hospital, his wife told him that he had suddenly fainted.

Tan said: "Fortunately, I didn't hit my head. I only had a slight pain in my arms and ribs."

Told to rest for a month, decided to retire

fry so many years should have many outlets mah....................either a poor businessman..............or his food so-so only.........

Pinky also fainted during National Day Rally in August 2016.
He should have retired one week after that.

Vaccinated?

Not a lot of nice CKT in the west, only downtown area and maybe the Apollo stall at the pre-renovation Marine Parade hawker centre.

Review from a customer less than a week ago (25 Nov 2023), on Google Maps.

Queued around an hour on a Saturday morning from 8:30. There definitely was wok hei but if I had to spend one hour queuing for char kway teow, I rather spend it at Hai Kee. This wasn't a bad plate of char kway teow but after trying most of the famed ones in Singapore, this is a little forgettable..
