Auntie says she's doing this because the buyer backstabbed her by making a deal with her rivals to take over her old stall's location and mislead customers.

Singkies biz rules only favour the big boys. Normally standard contracts should be...not allowed to open another stall 10km from location...of course got loop holes. But still better than nothing

It’s all dependent on the terms & conditions spelt out in the sales agreement contract. Sell hawker stalls is like sell hawker food…no receipt and no kam cheng

No doubt what have happened is not a pleasant experience, but "see-open" a bit loh.
82 years old Auntie should be cool & live off the rest of her life in peace, let karma do its work.

If there is no news on hawker centre, then there will be nothing to talk about Sinkies.

Chinese dunno how to cook banana fritters. It should be sliced thin and thus crunchy and type of banana used. Indonesians even worse. They add soy sauce or cheese. Yucks!

I don't quite understand the concept of selling stall for $.
Did the sales price include the stall or just the recipe?
Even you buy a recipe from someone, it doesn't mean it will taste the same.
Why would someone pay for a goreng pisang recipe for 6 figure?
There are so many pasar malam goreng pisang out there.
No matter how good the recipe can be, goreng pisang is still goreng pisang

I think they sold the business which include ownership or lease for the stall. Plus the staffs if any.
