$3.50 for just noodles and they call it budget friendly? If I squat down in toilet and excrete my solid waste, sell it for $2, will it be considered super saver meal?

It will taste good. Just add MSG. Anything bland becomes tasty food after adding MSG. Even white rice.
From the article and comments from their customers, I believe it is flavourful the way they cook is. But will lack the different texture and variety of tastes that those other ingredients provide. Besides, we need protein not just a carb load.

No pork, prawns, squid - no proteins.
No veggies - no fibre
No meat - no fats.
Only carbo.
Unhealthy

Which cheeky bastard among the two labeled it ‘budget friendly’. If I sell a bowl of white rice for $2, it’s cheap and can be taken as a meal, does that mean budget friendly too?

low-class reaches new-high in singapore.

how's that newsworthy? how's that progress for our nation?

nothing new...flat size also getting smaller, so hokkien mee no ingredients will be acceptable by pap voters ... they get what they voted for ... and meanwhile, the rich gets richer and poor gets poorer

No pork means it’s halal no ? Very thoughtful of them to enable our Muslim brothers to try this dish.

Actually just go wet market buy prawns, then cook, peel and put in fridge. Then if want to eat hokkien prawn mee, go there order kosong then add own prawns. Guaranteed much cheaper and can have lots of prawns too.
