Serial motorcycle parts thief arrested

SINGAPORE - The police have arrested an alleged serial thief.
The 45-year-old man is suspected of being involved in a series of theft cases involving motorcycle parts along Bayfront Ave.
The police received several reports from motorcycle owners on theft of exhaust pipes and brake calipers, between May and June this year.
Acting on these reports the police conducted extensive investigations in an attempt to apprehend the culprit.
On June 26, a suspicious motorcyclist along Bayfront Avenue was spotted by the police during an operation.
The officers recovered an assortment of motorcycle parts and components including exhaust pipes, brake calipers, fuel tanks, suspensions, cash cards, and personal documents from both the suspect's residence in Woodlands, and his motorcycle.
If found guilty the suspect can be jailed up to 7 years and fined.
