SINGAPORE - A 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with a series of milk powder thefts from November last year to February this year.
The police noted that several of the incidents had taken place in Bukit Panjang and suspected that the same culprit must have been involved in all the cases.
Their investigations led the police to establishing the identity of the culprit, and he was arrested in Rail Mall on March 8, at 5.50pm.
The suspect is believed to be involved in at least four thefts.
If found guilty he can be fined and jailed up to seven years.
