Serial condominium housebreaker arrested

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 29-year-old Chinese man believed to be involved in at least eight break-in cases at private condominiums.
He is believed to be involved in cases reported at private condominiums and apartments in Bukit Timah Road, Orange Grove Road, Stevens Road and Holland Road.
The suspect was arrested at his home at Pasir Ris Street 12 on Tuesday.
A number of items which are believed to be stolen goods were recovered.
The items include handbags, laptops, cameras, a mobile phone, and a watch worth a total of $8,000.
The man will be charged in Court on Thursday.
If convicted, he can be jailed for up to 14 years. - CNA/fa
