Hi guys,

I am going to be buying a seiko solar chronograph SSC077P1 watch and was wondering if anyone has done business with directbargains.com.au before and if so, are they secure to buy online?
Am I correct in assuming all watches are authentic and will come with box, manual, papers, etc.?

Please help!

John

Whether anything is "worth" the price depends entirely on the buyer.

I wouldn't pay even $1 for a watch because my phone tells the time perfectly well even though it is 5 years old.

Buy a classic Casio watch: Casio F-91w or Casio W-59-1V.

Watches are more than just for telling time, they are also fashion accessories.

nah not Casio,,they spoil damn fast,,seiko and citizen is better,,but that was in the 90s...now all made in ah tiong land,,so quality dropped,,

Watches are probably the only bracelets we guys can wear without feeling girlie

Rare watches are "worth" the astronomical sums they cost if you're an investor who believes they'll become even more valuable as time goes by.

For watches that accumulate value over time, it has to be an automatic one right?

I believe Seiko Springdrive is a collector's item too. It is technically an automatic watch but with the precision of quartz.

I just want my watch to tell me the time....still uses a watch, mine are usually what we call, 'working watches'...tell the time, look gofod & not too expensive on the wallet....I just cannot get myself to buy an expensive one...that I have to hide the hand in which the watch is being worn...

I have a couple of watches for the occasion, go work, that is one...some function at work or after..another & two cheap ones that are accurate, when I am traveling to places & country that the people usually do not wear one...

Frankly speaking a Cheap Casio watch worth few dollars will indicate more accurate time!!~

than a $10K or more Rolex, Omega, Frank Muller, Patek Philips, Panerai watch!!
