HULU SELANGOR - One person was injured in a major landslide that occurred in the Malaysian state of Selangor on Saturday morning (Nov 26).
The Star reported that a motorcyclist was injured by the landslide that struck Taman Idaman in Serendah in the Hulu Selangor district.
Bernama identified the motorcyclist as 21-year-old Mohd Fareez. He was sent to hospital for treatment.
A food stall in the vicinity and 10 vehicles parked at a roadside were also buried when they fell into a gap caused by the landslide, Bernama reported.
Selangor Fire and Rescue assistant director of operations Mohd Sani Harul said it dispatched its personnel to the scene following a distress call at 1am.
