When I as working for the former Singapre Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) the forerunner of mediacorp, there is a permannent office where a senior Ministry of Information executive is housed. He is there everyday, in an office in the tower at Caldecott Hill. We all know why he is stationed there. Don't we? If not to physically censor the news, it is to psychologically intimidate the journalists into toeing the government line.​
