School bus fares go up

Some school bus companies have raised their fares - with increases ranging from $3 to $20.

Bus operators blamed it on higher cost of insurance, spare parts and diesel.

The Singapore School Transport Association said it will leave it up to its 1,500 members to set the price.

Parents The New Paper spoke to are resigned to increases in school bus fares.
