Scammers trying to bait people with USS tickets, Takashimaya vouchers

Police say they have received reports on scammers who are advertising cheap tickets and vouchers online.
SINGAPORE: Police have issued a warning against an e-commerce scam in which "tickets to Universal Studios Singapore" and "vouchers for Takashimaya department store" are being touted online for cheap.
In a Facebook post on Friday (Dec 5), the Singapore Police Force said they have received reports on such cases. They said the scammers assure victims that the offers are genuine by providing a copy of their supposed NRICs and by providing local bank account numbers for victims to transfer payments.
To complete the purchase, the scammers would require victims to make payment by bank transfer. After the transaction is complete, victims would not receive their purchase and the scammers would be uncontactable.
Police advise members of the public to be wary of such scams and to adopt the following measures:
