Saved! Man who tried to jump from 17th floor of hospital

GEORGE TOWN: For about three hours, a man sat on a window ledge and threatened to jump from the 17th floor of a private hospital as a large crowd watched the drama from the street below.
The man, who is believed to be in his 30s, was seen shouting since 1pm Wednesday and drinking a cup of water.
Fire and Rescue Department personnel kept persuading him to give up his suicide attempt but he refused.
When he took off his shirt and swung his legs from the ledge, rescuers managed to grab him at about 2.57pm.
