July 16, 2012 Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, China

At about 1 pm Monday afternoon, a family of ten were having a picnic by the riverside
when one of their children got into difficulty swimming in the river.

A 70-year-old good Samaritan noticed the boy's struggling in mid-stream and immediately
dived in to his rescue. While trying to pull the child to safety, the exhausted Samaritan himself
also got into difficulty in the strong river current.

Fortunately for him, people on the riverside noticed his struggling and immediately went to his
assistance, pulling both of them to safety.

The exhausted 70-year-old was contented to just lay by the riverside while other rescuers
resuscitated the child.
