MHA panicked and realised that his superior was an uneducated and anal idiot. They queried the clown and found out the reason for the bad report. He was penalised for going home at 5pm and for no other reason. The superior was asked to re-grade him. A few more years and he becomes PPS to PM. Now Minister.

There is another OMS who shared the first part of HSK's 'history' but ended up blue black. An HI gave this OMS a lousy report and was directed to re-appraise this OMS. Under the Lan Lan Act, this HI acquiesced. But made it known to many that this OMS would not go far. Slightly more than a decade later, this OMS, at Supt and going for his DAC kena accused of molest while being a Commmander of the very division the alleged molest took place.

Given his OMS credentials , he should have been minimum AC at time of incident. His batch mate made it to DS MOM. And he got stuck at Supt. What a joke! But he can consider himself very lucky not to be charged in court - a privilege accorded to scholars. Btw, he is now working for Peter Lim.

The next 'star' could be Leo Yip. Another great guy like HSK. Wonder how their ex-boss KBH is reacting. He can't even make it to PS after all these years.

A lot of people were impressed with BG Tan compared with MG Chan and wondered why Chan got a ministry and not Tan. I think it is beginning to dawn on people that we are dealing with a hypocrite where Tan is concerned. Tell him go back to his family. We don't need him.

From SPF days, as a rising star, HSK was very humble and low profile unlike people like Benedict Cheong, Lum Hon Fye and a few others. Imho, MIW made the right decision in getting him in. He rejected them earlier.

It is a painful fact that without HSK,TCJ and CCS propping up the PAP in the last election, we will all still be talking about Foo Mee Har, Sim Ann and TPL!

Other than these 3 govt scholars who had been pushed thru the system to become the 'top 480th', the rest of the newbies seem to be still in 'shock and awe'.

And all the Indian lawyers (Indranee,Vikram,Hri Kumar) all come out to defend 'the system' in a pack.

Whatever they say or do, the public at large has lost respect for the 'old gang' cos they happily milked the system all these years...and the 'newbies' worried that they will be tainted with the same brush and start talking about 'sacrifices' after just being on the job for fucking 8 months!
