Our local Uni spends millions every year to attract their Tier-2 and Tier-3, including scholarships.

The good ones will also remain in Fudan, Tsinghua and Peking instead of coming over to Sg.

Provided the Uni allow teaching in dialects. It’s still a very long forgotten language and everything have to be in English

It is a real pity if the dialects get lost. There is one CLS dept where Thai is taught too by thai...Why our language Dept is not teaching our dialects? If can get them to go uni language Dept head, it is a good point to have them teach the language.

Japanese, Spanish, German and French are also electives which one can take while in school. Not sure if the Uni language head will approve the teaching of dialects even though it’s popular. Unfortunately dialects doesn’t seem like the ideal languages for learning.

Let's all start writing to CLS dept at NUS for post grads, maybe a cert from this Dept can pawn Uptron with skill future vouchers....Not need till PhD. PHV drivers can apply too.
Sinkies must be united to write in....Then NUS can rival NTU with more enrolment

Ya. U Should use your skillsfuture before it expire this year end. A lot of local Uni post grad places all grabbed by CECAs and PRCs. I was telling my friend studying in NTU post grad Eng is not different from studying in India or China.
