A migrant living in taxpayer-funded accommodation is alleged to have sexually molested four different women and girls in as many weeks while travelling on the Tube - including a 12-year-old.
Hamza Alotaibi, 27, originally from Jordan and thought to have arrived in Britain by small boat, is said to have assaulted all the victims within the space of a month in London.
The youngest of those allegedly assaulted was a 12-year-old girl who he is said to have approached on a District Line train while it travelled between St James Park and Acton Town stations on January 27 this year.
Just two days later on January 29, he then allegedly groped a young woman at Paddington station.
A week later on February 4, he then is said to have assaulted a young woman on the Elizabeth Line near Whitechapel station.
Finally he is accused of molesting another woman on February 13 on the same line between Liverpool Street and Canary Wharf station.
All of the women and girls were targeted while travelling alone, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard.
At the time of his arrest, Alotaibi was living in taxpayer-funded Home Office accommodation in London - though it was not specified where.

He has now been moved to similar accommodation in Hartlepool, County Durham.
Bearded Alotaibi appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court and was seen smoking a cigarette outside and wearing a jumper and blue jeans with designer Golden Goose trainers, assisted by an Arabic interpreter.
He denied four separate counts of sexual assault on a female.
David Burns, prosecuting, said: ‘These are similar offences where the defendant has targeted females on the transport network.
‘On each occasion, the defendant has touched the genitals, buttocks or thighs of females travelling alone, one of whom was 12 years old at the time.’
District Judge Ashwinder Kaur Gill bailed Alotaibi ahead of a future trial on condition that he is not to travel on the entire UK rail network unless for a legal or medical appointment, and to travel with an Oyster card if travelling on the London Underground.
Alotaibi was bailed ahead of a plea and trial preparation hearing at Inner London Crown Court on November 19.
Last week a different asylum seeker with the same surname was also in court for groping a teenage girl on the Tube .
Muslih Alotaibli is 39 and from Saudi Arabia unlike his namesake who is 27 and from Jordan.
He was told he faces deportation to Saudi Arabia when he gets out of prison after being convicted.
The 39 year old, an overstayer, assaulted a 17-year-old on the Central Line between Oxford Circus and Mile End station on September 2 last year.
