A MAN was asked to pay RM3,000 after he viewed a video of his Facebook friend in the nude.
Wang Hong Jia, 21, said that a pretty young woman, who claimed to be from Thailand, recently sent a link to him on Facebook.
According to reports in several Chinese dailies, Wang, who is from Klang, had never met the woman before.
The three-minute video recording was shown after Wang clicked “like” on it.
Subsequently, Wang received a telephone call from a man who claimed to be the woman’s boyfriend.
Wang said that the man accused him of asking the woman to take off her blouse and that he should now pay up to settle the matter.
Apparently, the man even knew about Wang’s personal information such as his home address.
He threatened to kill Wang if he refused to pay.
Wang has lodged a report with the police.
> China Press reported that a stray dog stopped several robbers from entering a shophouse belonging to a man who occasionally fed him.
A CCTV showed that the dog refused to budge from the door even though one of the robbers kept hitting it with a rod.
The man, who lived at the shophouse in Teluk Intan, Perak, subsequently heard the noise and switched on the lights.
This prompted the robbers to flee the scene.
