It's all bullshit. Even the parents' visit to BMTC has been meticulously choreographed to show the good side of the SAF.

Take them on a tour to the combat units where the real action is. And do it unannounced, incognito.
This shows that PAP is increasingly relying on PRs and newcomers to shore up future electoral support. So the first thing to do is to soft-sell NS to them so more will take up citizenships for the purpose.
