Resurfacing of expressways. Big money for low quality?

Making a comparison with MCE, the quality of resurfacing of our expressways just don't cut it. Even on new surfaces you can see gravel instead of smooth black asphalt. And it's only slightly quieter than 4 year old surfaces when our tires run over it.

Makes you wonder if the LTA approving engineer officers are receiving new year hampers that comes in container loads. But then, according to the biggest hypocrite in mankind's history, there is little corruption in Sinkiepore.
 
A good example would be the first kilometer of PIE right in front of Changi Airport runway left. It's already rough just one week after resurfacing.
 
Agreed. Some stretches on pie kind of rough. :/
 
You all are spoilt Sinkie drivers! If you think Singapore roads are bad, wait till you drive on Malaysia and Thailand roads. Bumpy and full of potholes. ;)
