Restaurant owner has narrow escape in shooting incident

NIBONG TEBAL: A 43-year-old restaurant owner escaped death in a shooting incident at Jalan Kendi in Taman Merak Jaya, Bukit Tambun near here.
In the 3.15pm incident, he was about to alight from a Ford Lynx before he was fired at by a gunman on a motorcycle.
Both the suspects fled in a car after their motorcycle broke down about five kilometres from the crime scene.
The victim was rushed to the Seberang Jaya Hospital and reported to be in a stable condition.
A forensic team rushed to the scene to conduct the investigations.
