There is nothing confusing whatsoever.

Most verses that kuffar cite always , without fail, involve the pronouns they or you.

Unless you know specifically who they or you refers to, you would not understand the passage.

Therefore, in order to understand the passage you would need to read the context.

The terms "Bible" and "Gospel" are equated to words like encyclopedia and truth in everyday use. The moslem quran, is not equated as truth by most people.

Only ignoramuses, or charlatans, believe that Bible which is not even intact in its original language is akin to the truth in any way shape or form.
