Collective Responsibility is a great concept to dodge blame for silly decisions. For example, Phony Tan claims he detested eugenics but had to kowtow to Baba Emperor fascination with Eugenics. It was only dismantled as Princess Margaret's prediction that it did not work came to haunt Baba Emperor. The straw that broke Baba Emperor was the 'divine punishment' .... his albino grandson and suicide of his daughter in law. For Baba Emperor who believed smart people like himself beget smart perfect children, his albino grandchild was a manifestation of Princess Margaret's warning. Both events were very close to the time where the hated eugenics and forced sterilisations/abortions were pushed under the rug and forgotten.
