these property bigwig b@stards are the ones that always trying to interfere with government policies for their own selfish interests and profit at our expense. all these cr@p about increasing value of the flats or apaartments make no sense as it would lock all of us into a lifetime of slavery thorough 30, 40 year old mortgages. see what happened in Ireland, spain, japan, US, and UK. at the end of the day high home prices benefit only 0.00000000001% of the population while enslavng 99.99999% ie only home developers and property agents benefit without having to work hard . seemed irresponsible trying to influence garmen policies openly. In HK the ICAC would have investigate these property guys already . Photos in newspapers showing garmen people having dinner or meals with property bigwig looks inappropriate or like a conflict of interest to me. seemed they are telling the public that they have an implied influence in how policies are made or reassessed?

In most countries, property developers who make millions every year will not dare openly come out and push their selfish views so brazenly.

They will face protest from students, consumer groups, opposition politicans and probably be chewed up by the free press.

These bastards blame everybody else for their drop in profits and now demand from the minister more concessions?

They have a choice. They can always refuse to bid for the tender KBW puts out for that parcel of land. No need for the govt to review land sales programme for their benefit.

And from KBW's body language, I think in previous discussions he was pressured by them. Maybe they gave a veiled signal that if he does not listen to them, they can colletively make life difficult for the minister.

I predict KBW will give in and we all lose. MND is a different kettle of fish compared to MOH.
