Yeah it's common back then in Chinatown.... And in early 80s, I still remember following my father to Maybank branch at Upper Serangoon. I waited outside the bank while my went in. Then I saw a pick up... Behind pickup was this big cage. A big python was inside. A small crowd gathered. The driver said he was sending the snake to a temple.in the 70s, in chinatown smith street, there is this woman who skins pythons like this in public, she sells wildlife, no joke
it was awesome to see her kill the python, we kids can only look on in amazement
Agree.... Just cull them instead of releasing them back to the wild.. Our forested areas are so small so they will still slither their way back to the nearest housing estates.Lately there are too many of these big reptiles in our urban areas in Sinkapor.. Matter of time a young child or infant is being attacked.
Our authorities need to do something seriously to cut down their population. Meaning to destroy them, not catching n releasing them back into the wild.
I hope they'll will act on it asap.
pythons damn big, where they come from? not many vegetated areas like mandai, kranji..so far they can crawl all the way meh, the body so fat, lol
Sinkieland drainage sysem tiptop ok.
The PAP technocrats keep destroying their natural habitats, so snakes, monkeys, otters, wild boars etc all come out to play.![]()
