The Singaporean public are sick and tired of WP's wayang ways and their shirking of responsibility in the Yaw SL scandal and now this resentment has shown in the form of a potential 4 cornered fight for Hougang! And read this insightful letter by highly respected Opposition leader Goh Meng Seng's about the state of the Workers' Party!

Dear Scroobal,

You may think WP is the best bet now but for me, better be safe than sorry. To be over-reliance on WP is a dangerous move. WP members have repeatedly talked about "Two-Party system" implicitly demonstrating their conscious effort in wanting to monopolize the opposition platform. Is this good for Singapore? I really doubt so.

Unfortunately, the example of MK saga has to be cited to demonstrate the irrational and irresponsible move made by WP.

I have to reiterate here, I have been through WP and know exactly how it functions, strength and weaknesses. There is no bad blood nor bad breath, though I know some of the WP insects are doing all those funny things to me at my back.

WP, due to its own selfish considerations are going to kill the goose that laid the golden eggs.

Goh Meng Seng

SINGAPORE: Four Political Donation Certificates have been issued for the May 26 by-election in Hougang constituency.

The Elections Department said on Tuesday that certificates were issued to Mr Desmond Choo, Mr Png Eng Huat, Dr Poh Lee Guan and Mr Zeng Guoyuan.

Mr Choo has been announced as the People's Action Party candidate for the constituency.

Mr Png is running on the Workers' Party ticket.

Dr Poh, a member of the Workers' Party, has also been granted a Political Donation Certificate. The adjunct lecturer stood in last year's General Election as part of a five-man Workers' Party team in Nee Soon GRC.

Responding to queries from Channel NewsAsia, the Workers' Party said it has only nominated Mr Png as its candidate in Hougang, and that Dr Poh had not informed the party of any intention to contest.

Mr Zeng, a former Workers' Party member, tried unsuccessfully to contest the General Election last year as an independent candidate in Mountbatten.

To be validly nominated as a candidate for election in a constituency, the nominee needs to, amongst other requirements, submit to the Returning Officer on Nomination Day on 16 May the Political Donation Certificate issued by the Registrar of Political Donations.

Two guys commented already considered public resentment at all time high?

Shocking!

Banglas like to talk to themselves in the first place & they are not suffering from split personality but just because nobody like talking to them, thus they have to entertain themselves & cook up all sorts of cocks & bulls!
