SINGAPORE (AP) -- Singapore's private housing prices have inched higher to a fresh record high in the third quarter.

The Urban Redevelopment Authority said in a statement Friday that private residential property prices rose 1.3 percent quarter-on-quarter in the July-September period, slowing from 2.0 percent growth in the second quarter.

Property prices have advanced nine straight quarters and jumped 18 percent last year after plunging 25 percent in the 12 months to mid-2009.
