So after making a defamatory statement ...wtf is your fuckin clarification or apology you fuckhead bastard pap dogs??

PAP said that Pritam Singh didn't tell Parliament that the article was written by another person when he read it. therefore PAP was under the false impression that Pritam Singh wrote the article himself.

if the article is quite long, think Pritam Singh should tell Parliament about the article's origin before reading it out. Pritam should give the author credit even if he has already received permission to use his work. if Pritam used only 1 short paragraph, think no need to mention original author.

if i write a long article here, and someone discovers that i copied it from elsewhere. i defend myself saying that i have already sought permission from the author. think some forummers here would accuse me of some kind of plagiarism because i didn't mention anything about the article's origin earlier. they thought that i wrote it. i was trying to mislead them that i wrote it by not mentioning the original author.

Talk about splitting hairs!! Anyway how many Ministars and MPs write their own materials???

it is normal for a MP to authorize assistants to prepare parliamentary speeches.

Not just 'assistants' ok!! They got the whole freaking civil service at their disposal , not just the media if they need help that way. The Opp MPs got such support !!

This is 超级白在鸡蛋里挑骨头at it best.

I suggest all WP MP better start declaring everything machiam army style - I, Rank, Name, IC Number, declare that I did not copy large chunk of text from another writer. Pinky Mdm!:oIo:

The issue is not so much of plagiarism. What is the difference if u copy someone's writing (with his consent) and use that for your own ( again the author is fine with it). Compare with the PAP who probably contact the author to write something for their 'assistants' to vet and modify. The Ministar then take the speech and talk like he is the subject expert when actually he knows nuts! Who is the better MP??

They have an ex-President's son to do that.

what is so hard for Pritam Singh to say in advance that "this is an article from XXX and i have his permission to reproduce part of the article here..." there will be no loss of face for reproducing somebody else's work in parliament. it happens everywhere in parliaments worldwide.

*i have not read Pritam Singh's version of the story.
