Imagine a foreign occupying force invades your land and destroys your home, schools, hospitals and other infrastructure.

Imagine the occupying force destroys your crops which are source of your staple food, as well as poisons and pollutes your drinking water source.

Imagine them forcing you out of your homes to build settlements for their own citizens in the most fertile parts of your land, leaving you whatever wasteland there may be left as your prison.

Then finally, to add insult to all the injury, they wall you up to be a prisoner in your own land, which is the whatever little un-cultivatable land you may have left, cutting you off from the outside world.

Sounds like the struggle of the Singapore malays :D

THe Malays are not the natives of Singapore.

Singapore was unoccupied when Raffles landed, with only 500 or so Malays and some Chinese.

The Malays are immigrants, just like the Chinese and Indians and Europeans.

ROFL not the answer he's expecting. We're always supposed to be pitying the malays for what reason i don't know.
