LHL was better. When LHL was with the SAF, none of our neighbours dared to make trouble for us. Singapore was not invaded. When Napoleon was around, while his presence on the battlefield was said to be worth a whole corps, his enemies nonetheless still dare to invade France repeatedly.

So that makes our "Pinky" better than the "Little Corporal".

Malaysia has formally ceded Pedra Branca to us a few years ago. They had the options of negotiation, outright war or play a mind-game war of attrition like what China is trying to do right now with Japan. But the m&ds decided to fold after deciding that our navy will destroy theirs if they tried any military options of resolving the island dispute.

Singapore won a military victory without fighting and secured more land. That's far better than Napoleon. The Art of War did say something good about winning a war without having to resort to actual fighting.
