Qingjian Realty won the bid for a land parcel at Sembawang Road and Canberra Link to develop an executive condominium (EC) housing development.
The land is 28,745.9 square metres and was won with a bid of $229.38 million. Qingjian's bid was higher than the combined bid of $208.5 million submitted by Verwood Holdings and TID residential.
The new EC development is going to have a 99 year lease and will have 605 housing units.
The sale of this land parcel attracted the least number of bidders for a land site since 2001.
