Police have arrested a 58-year-old Chinese national in connection with the death of his 41-year-old wife at their Choa Chu Kang Avenue 2 flat on Thursday.

A spokesman said the police received a call about a domestic disturbance at the unit earlier at 4.02am but paramedics, who were activated later, subsequently pronounced the woman dead at 4.32am.

The police have classified the case as murder.

Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department were still at the scene gathering evidence late in the morning, even as the victim's body was taken away in a police hearse at about 9.45am.

you're right, i'm wrong. for the chees, they'll show up in 30 seconds, and with overwhelming force. in sg when you encounter a crime being committed, call the cops but don't mention the crime, instead mention very clearly "chee is here!" you may actually save lives.
