A PRC ‘FT’ was given a police warning only for intimidating passengers on board a Tiger Airway flight from Guangzhou to Singapore.
The 41 year old PRC woman reportedly made a scene on the flight after her request to change to a seat in front was refused.
“Do you still remember the 911 incident? I have the ability to make the plane disappear! Do you have any last words?” she shouted.
She then proceeded to make a din and only stopped when the plan arrived in Singapore. The police was called and she was subsequently ‘invited’ to the police station to take a statement.
As she is a precious PRC ‘foreign talent’, no charges were pressed against her and she was only let off with a warning. Had the offender been a Singaporean, he or she would probably be jailed for criminal intimidation.

SINGAPORE: A 24-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly posting an alarming hoax message on an Internet forum.

In the message posted on Thursday, the sender wrote that an F-16 jet had crashed at the Ubi/Eunos Link area and there were many casualties.

A netizen reported the incident to the police at 12.20pm.

After confirming that the message was a hoax, the police conducted an investigation and arrested the suspect at about 8pm at his home at Bedok Reservoir Road.

A desktop computer was also seized from his house.

If found guilty, the suspect can be jailed up to three years, fined or both.

Central Police Division commander Tan Hung Hooi said the police take a serious view of such irresponsible Internet postings that could cause public alarm and will spare no effort to track the perpetrators and take them to task.

A woman allegedly threatened to make the Tiger Airways plane she was traveling on disappear during a four hour fiasco.

The incident happened at 10:40am on 20 May when the flight was traveling from Guangzhou to Singapore. After the plane had taken off, the woman asked to have her seat changed.

When her request was denied, she began making a scene.

According to an eyewitness, Lin Baoguang, the woman shouted at the passengers asking them whether they remember the 911 incident.

She allegedly said that she has the ability to make the plane disappear.

Mr Lin said the woman - dressed in t-shirt and jeans - appeared to be in her thirties and was around 1.7m tall.

There was drama even before the plane took off.

The woman is said to have started screaming that she was hungry and questioned why there was no food being served.

An air steward explained to her that food items could only be sold after take-off.

Furthermore, during landing the woman refused to fasten her seat belt.

The police confirmed that they received a call for assistance at the Budget Terminal. A spokesperson from the budget carrier said that the woman has been warned and that she promised not to repeat her behavior.
